Founded in 2017, Lake Anna Spa was known as Spavauna and was located off Main Street, Louisa. Started by Aundria Galanti, Spavauna embraced her vision of bringing quality Day Spa services to the area without the need to drive to major urban areas. It wasn't until 2021 that the business made the jump to move north toward the growing community of Lake Anna and became a multi-practitioner practice by adding Kathleen DeAngelo to the roster. By the end of 2022, after already experiencing rapid growth and amazing support from the community Aundria and Kathleen merged as co-owners. The decision was made to officially rebrand Spavauna to Lake Anna Spa to show how rooted we are in our area.

Aundria Galanti is the founder of Lake Anna Spa, and has been a Master Rehabilitation Therapist for 22 years. She started her therapy career in Michigan as a Sports trainer, evolving into day spas in the Ann Arbor and Saline area. She also did in-home travel therapy and co-owned her own physical therapy office at one point. Aundria’s work mainly focuses on athletes and those recovering from surgeries and strength building. She has advanced training as a certified Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Therapist, Myofascial Trigger Point Specialist, and Acu-Therapist. Her skills as a personal trainer and Athletic Recovery Therapist have made her unique in what she can offer to clients who are looking for results-driven treatments to help them feel and function at their very best.
The initial goal Aundria wished to provide was effective quality care to the people in her town. When the opportunity to open her very own studio in Louisa became available, she leapt at the chance. Known initially as Therapeutic Massage and Rehabilitation, her studio eventually transitioned into Spavauna when Spa and Body Treatments were introduced. For three years, Spavauna was on main street Louisa, across from the Courthouse. It wasn't until COVID-19 hit that she started looking at alternative ways to grow and expand on what she could offer her community. The Lake Anna area quickly became a focus for where the growth of population was to become. The need for the perfect team soon became evident. After being introduced to her now business partner Kathleen DeAngelo, she was officially the first Therapist to join Aundria’s new team. Finding a location in the Valere building, the two started with the larger room on the lowest level and expanded into the remaining space in two and a half years adding three additional practitioners in the process.
In her spare time, Aundria is a competitive athlete and racer and enjoys spending time with her Husband and Children on their local Cattle Farm. Aundria has a vast variety of pressure ability ranging from very light to deep tissue.

Master Esthetics | Massage Therapist | Restorative Nails
Kathleen first got into the beauty and wellness industry after witnessing the value of quality work and seeing the impact that could be made on people's lives after a terminally ill family member received services and she saw how much of a difference it made. She graduated with a Beauty Wellness degree that consisted of Massage Therapy, Esthetics, and Electrolysis in 2010 and has never looked back.
In 2011 she returned to school for her Master Esthetician degree along with completing nearly 100 postgraduate hours at the International Dermal Institute. In 2022, Kathleen decided to return to school to learn Nails and quickly discovered a passion for restorative nail care.
Despite being capable of offering a wide variety of services, Kathleen makes sure not to be just a jack-of-all-trades and master of none. In every aspect of her education, she puts thorough thought into her services and is widely regarded as a master of Deep Tissue Massage. Her passion for Scar Tissue Release and her pressure, helps her to mindfully work out issues from superficial to incredibly deep. Having worked with many injuries, from full-body burn victims to double mastectomies, her passion for achieving results is evident.
As a Master Esthetician, Kathleen has the ability to provide not only Holistic Spa services but also more medical-grade options such as Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion. As a Nail Technician, she has blossomed into Restorative foot care, helping people recover their nails and providing in-depth professional cleanings and rehab.
In her spare time, Kathleen enjoys relaxing with her family, watching anime, and playing video games. When she gets a chance, you can find her in the mountains camping with her horse and enjoying getting away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Kathleen’s pressure ranges from medium to extreme deep tissue.
Jessica has been a practicing medical massage therapist for twenty years now. Her love of helping people with pain relief with therapeutic massage therapy has been an ongoing passion for her. Attending the Virginia School of Massage in 1998, she specializes in working with clients battling cancer and other chronic illnesses that require an experienced therapist.
Her different skill sets are reflexology and deep muscle therapy. She is a certified Pilates instructor. Her work experience has been at the Chiropractic and Spinal Center of Manasseh and on the labor and delivery floor in Centra Southside FarmVille.
Jessie took a break from massage and became a certified EMT and firefighter for seven years and still volunteers at local fire stations in the area. She taught an anatomy and physiology course at the Massage school for two years and wrote her dissertation on chronic regional pay syndrome for the UVA health program.
Joining the Lake Anna Spa team this past summer, Jessica has enjoyed getting back to practicing fulfilling therapy work for the local Lake Anna residents. Gaining a solid clientele and becoming a valuable asset. Jessica enjoys spending her spare time with her family and friends, loves road trips no matter the length, and loves reading and gardening. Her pressure ranges from Medium-Light to Deep Tissue.
